Visa no. 10: Ivory Coast in Freetown

This is how all visas should be.

Ivory Coast maintains a honorary consulate in Freetown. It’s at 1 Wilson Street.

I arrive at the consulate at 1:15pm on Friday. Its marked by Ivorian flag, there is no sign. I see a man outside he leads me to a room. Visas are granted, take 2 working days. When I ask if it’s possible to do it now, he says yes. He needs 2 passport photos, application form and $70, leones accepted at 8900le to a dollar.

20 minutes later I leave with the visa, valid for 3 months, possibly with multiple entries but it doesn’t say anything on the visa, I saw it when it was recorded recorded in the visa book.
